Please join DHS Healthcare-Associated Infections Prevention Program (HAI Program) staff for a live walk-through of the new National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) COVID-19 module for LTCFs.
This is part of the HAI Program’s ongoing efforts to provide NHSN user support, and not an officially-sanctioned NHSN training. We are offering a local opportunity to see a demonstration of the module and address questions about data entry.
The walk-through will include:
- Navigating the LTCF COVID-19 module
- Data entry demonstration
- Review of additional resources, including tables of instructions and data definitions
- Q & A
Submit questions in advance to the HAI Prevention Program with the subject line “NHSN COVID Module Webinar.” There will also be an opportunity to type questions into the Q&A box during the webinar.
Note that while the NHSN LTCF module is available for nursing homes and assisted living facilities to use, this event will focus on nursing homes, in accordance with the CMS mandate.
