Today Governor Tony Evers and DHS Secretary-designee Andrea Palm announced You Stop the Spread – our new campaign to encourage all Wisconsinites to do our part to protect what’s important to us and to help protect everyone in Wisconsin.
Please check out You Stop the Spread. And then share the information with your organization, family, friends, and community.
Share how you’re doing your part to #YouStopTheSpread on social media. Help us spread the word by taking a picture of yourself (feel free to include friends) doing your part (wearing a mask, washing your hands, staying 6 feet from others) and post on your social media accounts using the hashtag #YouStopTheSpread. Be sure to include why you are doing your part, like: I’m protecting my dad or grandma, supporting essential workers, or helping local businesses stay strong.
We are also ready to share a toolkit for our local partners, like you, to use to support You Stop the Spread in your communities. The toolkit contains:
- Poster series
- Newspaper ad templates
- Social media graphics
- News release
A newsletter article series is also in development. These materials will be translated into other languages and will be downloadable from our website.
